To wear or not to wear!?
Pretty much on a daily basis we get emails about tights/leggings and how to wear them. Can they be worn with open toed shoes, how can I pull them off with boots, how do I know what to wear with my colored tights, and pretty much, what are the rules to wearing them? So I put this outfit together with open toed shoes, and colored/textured tights. Would you wear it? (More to come on how to wear colored tights/leggings! I voted yes but I think it totally depends on the tight/shoe combo so you can’t really totally say yes or no to every situation, in my opinion.
Those tights remind me of Malvolio’s cross-gartered yellow stockings from Twelfth Night.
I really like the outfit, but would not wear textured tights with it.
I’m excited to hear more about wearing colored tights because I love them. I saw a pair of yellow ones at GAP and I’m pretty sure I’m going to buy them.
I adore the outfit, especially the tights, but I am pretty strict about open toed shoes and stockings.I cringe when I see it. And several times I have even seen the reinforced toe on nylons with an open toe shoe. So hideous. There is always a seam at the toe that is not meant to be seen. End of story for me. But again, I loooove the outfit.
