Tips for email requests success…
Yo. It’s Emily. First of all, I’m now a little bit obsessed with Tulle. Second, we’ve been getting a lot of emails from you awesome readers with requests for outfits/style advice. We LOVE your emails. We super love them. Unfortunately, we can’t answer them all with a post, but here are some tips that will help get you to the top of the pile:
-in your email, include your name (first and initial of last name) and where you’re from…we just like seeing where y’all are from
-let us know your size, maybe your height, any problem areas, etc. We love making outfits for you, but we need a little background information. Plus it would be a bummer if we showed you something that wasn’t available in your size, would emphasize a less than favorite body part, would be too short for your 5’10″ frame, etc.
-this is an important one…give us a specific request. We love the emails where people say, “I’ve got a bridal shower/high school reunion/family picture/hot date with my husband/important interview coming up and I need help finding something cute and modest to wear.” Remember the one where a teacher needed help finding stylish clothes for going back to school, or the one where our reader had tickets to Wicked and needed a fun outfit for the show? Those are good examples of specific requests. It makes our job a little easier, plus you get exactly the help you need. We all win.
-lastly, here at Sensibly Styled we’re trying to promote modesty and style. Our goal is to give you limitless options and inspiration so that shopping for modest clothes is simple and satisfying. We’re not really in the “fashion industry”…like at all. We’re just friends who want to look good and figure others do, too. We hope that what we do is making your life a little easier and your closet a little prettier.
