Mom Uniform: Errands on a cold winter day
For this week’s outfit, the goal is simply to get your errands done as painlessly as possible. From what I see on the weather channel, many of you are in the middle of a cold and snowy winter, so this outfit is to help keep you comfortable while warm and toasty inside, and then transition quickly for when you need to go out into the world to pick up your children from school or run to the post office. Depending on what kind of weather you’re having in your neck of the woods (I can’t even think that phrase without hearing Al Roker in my head, can you?), just pick out which type of boot works best for you. A timeless Frye riding boot? Some fun rainboots to put a smile on your face on a gray winter’s day? Or warm and comfy snow boots? Oh, and make sure to wear a scarf that is fun and colorful. I used to live in Alaska, and I remember month after month of snow. Sometimes a cheery scarf is just about the only fun accessory that you can add to an outfit because all your cold winter gear is covering up everything else!
Have a great weekend!

So true! It is totally a uniform. I tend to wear the same things all the time…a little embarrassing to admit, but hey, at least I’m comfortable right? I LOVE that orange/white striped boyfriend sweater. I live in these! And the riding boots are on my wish list. I love Frye boots—so comfortable!
I love it all ! Especially those north face boots. Too bad I live in the south where they are totally unecessary, eh?
Keep the mom uniforms comin’!!! I love them!
