Down East Basics is NOT giving an EXTRA 50% off their clearance items. The sale items listed on their website are marked UP TO 50% off. The beautiful Timeless Trench Coat mentioned above has decreased $5.00 from the original price. I just don’t want anyone to be disappointed, like I was, when they don’t get an extra 50% off. I was really hoping for that coat to be around $20. Sad.

I also don’t see the extra discount… the sale prices are the same as yesterday. Perhaps it starts at a certain time today? I’ll keep checking because gosh darn it I can’t keep away from a great sale!
I didn’t see the extra 50 off either. Also, I tried to use the sponsor promo code to get free shipping on an order over $40 but I couldn’t get it to work. Anyone ever used that before?
I used the code FIFTYN2 and it gave me an additional 50% off the clearance. I got an uptown cord skirt for $3.50! Can beat that price!
FYI I placed an order last night because I had a gift certificate, placed the order before I knew about the extra 50% off and they were great about refunding me the 50% off on the clearance items I had already ordered!

Thanks so much for the heads up! I got 2 skirts for $7 ea, a top for $8 and a dress for $12.50 at the store. And they are all cute stuff that will work with my pregnancy and after! (I’m 3 1/2 months pregnant.) So happy I could buy some cute non maternity stuff that I’ll get some use of now and after.
