Had to share a great line for layering pieces: undertease.

I don’t know about you but I love to have a few pieces to give me the option of length or sleeves under my shirts.

The Signature Cami looks really good, but the one I liked the best was the Signature Tank. It’s supposed to be bra friendly and have more strap coverage.

Also I was happy to find they have a plus size line with cap sleeve and cami as well.

How to: wearing leggings

My MIL gave me this long sweater and leggings for Christmas. I’ve worn the sweater a few times with a long sleeve shirt under it. Any other ideas how to wear it? I have yet to wear the legging. How do you wear leggings? My husband says I need a skirt over them or I look like I forgot to wear pants. What shoes do you wear with leggings? Flat shoes? Boots?

Tip 1: Avoid shiny leggings (unless attending an 80′s party). Look for leggings that are thick and substantial to avoid showing off what you’re wearing underneath them! Not sure you want to make the plunge to leggings? Try a jegging (jean+legging) and go from there.

Tip 2: Think of leggings as tights rather than pants; put them under skirts, dresses, or tunics. Leggings are an accessory. Don’t base an outfit around them; add them to an already cute look. Keep leggings in the same color family as your outfit. If you’re wearing a lot of brown, go for brown leggings etc.

Tip 3: Go for longer tops (about mid-thigh) that will cover your tush. Self conscious about your stomach or hips? Tunics make great stylish camouflage! Chunkier tops, like a thick sweater, create a nice contrast to the tight leggings.

Tip 4: Leggings can look tacky with the wrong footwear. Go for flats, boots and heals that are the same color as your leggings. Leggings paired with the same color heal give the appearance of a longer leaner leg – who doesn’t want that? Avoid shiny patten leather heals to avoid looking cheap.

Fall Finds For Plus Size

There are a lot of fun fall pieces out there ready to be worn and plus size is no exception!!! Here are some of my favorite finds:

I always love the metallic like I found in the headband and striped tee. Of course, we have a beautiful plaid for fall (my favorite part: it’s long!!)

It may be wrong to wear white after labor day but that military style jacket is also available in black.

Faith 21 provides us with that beautiful floral and black dress that would be perfect with a set of leggings and flats. (look for a shoe post coming soon!)

and my favorite: the yellow and grey cardi – yes i own it! -
